  1. I’m very new to DSLR photography, and landscapes, seascapes and woodland are my favourite subjects. I have much to learn and you’re a good teacher and a pleasure to watch how you compose your beautiful images. Thank you and I’ve subscribed. 👍😃

  2. Hey Nigel. I really enjoy watching your channel. Thanks a lot for sharing your experience. I'd like to ask you one question… there's this song I heard in your videos a few times and I really like it but I can't find it anywhere. May be you could tell the name of the singer or is it a band?

  3. Nicely demonstrated, out of the trio I personally like the fog & snow ❄️ image. Sad about the trees being impacted, but normal for the pines to take the brunt of the damage. Enjoy the videos and have a grand day. Cheers, G

  4. Hey Nige, this is my first ever comment on YouTube. I stumbled across ur channel by accident after watching another Pom whilst I was recovering from foot surgery. Anyway as I mentioned once to you on IG I love ur work but I wanted to say why. So many others do something similar but I love ur honesty and originality the most!! Its a rare thing with photographer these days! Once you watch a few you can see what they're really up to 😉 Please dont change the way you do things Nige.

  5. Great video and images. Your different interpretations of the trees were great. I felt certain you were going to say you were near Ladybower but you really surprised me by saying Macc Forest. I thought we were hit hard here in Saddleworth, but the bad weather seems to have wreaked havoc everywhere.

  6. Great advice on taking multiple photos while the conditions change. Thanks for your channel, Nigel. If you don't mind, I would like to recommend you in my next vlog? Keep up the great work.

  7. good lord that b-roll wide shot camera of you walking around is the cleanest looking piece of 1080 I've ever seen. Or did you shoot it in 4K and down res to 1080? What camera/lens is it. Looks almost 3D from here it's spectacular.

  8. Lovely video. You've captured the magical/ethereal quality of the wood really well – in both the stills and the video. And shown that woods/forests in general can make a wonderful subject for landscape photography – not just mountains, seascapes etc.

  9. What great work. The vivid colors. The bouncing dog. The old adage is, never work with kids or dogs, but your dog seems to be happy and sticks with you. Mine looks a little like yours but his name is Bullet because he's off and gone. Good drone workas well. I live in AZ. We are lacking in great fog and moss.

  10. I want to thank you so much, Nigel for all you share. You and Thomas Heaton are both so educational and inspirational. You have brought me back into being active in landscape photography and brought back the passion. THANK YOU

  11. Great video! I think you have the happiest dog I've seen haha. The little bit of mist in the air in your first photo just makes it. Really beautiful. Fog + Snow for me. loved it.

  12. Beautiful video, Nigel. And really interesting and educational comparisons of atmospheric conditions. Just great. Thanks so much for pouring so much of yourself into these videos
