  1. this is what we call chimping in photography, the proper the way is to set your exposure using a light meter, and then fire the flash and meter it with the light meter, so you know exactly how many stops by 1/3rds to increase the flash power.

  2. Can you bring the background down to -1/2 stop to hide the fact that you using flash but rather make it look like you just found perfect ambient light with the subject lightly highlighted.

  3. You should do another video I can tell that you have improved your skills from the time you recorded this video until the present moment. I would really like you to tackle this β€œwho to vid” with everything you’ve learned since.

  5. Thankyou for this tutorial Manny. One question what happens if I expose for ambient then flash at 1/256 but the subject is still too bright. Do I move the light further away? If I make the shutter quicker the subject is light correctly but the background is too dark
